Most fun: DI Shadowhunter - assassin class that doesn't get one shot, can zoom around, skills are cool with good sound fx. Good at kiting around bosses. Easy to play. After you finish tutorial once, all the classes you create next, you can skip tutorial and start at level 10 straight. But half of lost ark player base jsut want to get bussed anyway so they don't care. There's definitely an issue with how paladins are generally perceived. No argument that it's an easy class to play, because it's straightforward but that does't necessarily make it boring. My favourite class is arcanist, but it's not really a good choice for a new player. Very investment heavy and takes quite a bit of practice to pilot it. Peace maker gunslinger is the most fun for me since it gives a lot of options for different situations, and learning skill rotations for each situation is hard to master but fun to play. Class is fun and hits really hard but a little too braindead so it's getting old for me lol. Lost Ark Sorceress has all the things I want to see when I create a mage for an MMO: way too sexy outfits and and way too impressive spells :) I went for Reflux because when I started to game pre lv50 I would always forget to use igniter during boss fights which is a completely dumb point but lmao this was the best decision of my Lost Ark life. Gunner. Assassin. Needless to say, Lost Ark features sub-characters in the given class, each with its distinct upgrade paths and abilities. Therefore, let’s start by looking at the workings of the class system to help you formulate a proper decision. Sorc and shadow hunter were amazing feeling when I tried in the RU servers. Like the screen just blows up playing sorc. Blade was really fun going in and out of combat. Gunlancer was fun being able to just face tank with your shield up and still do good damage and have cool abilities. Paladin has a lot of cool looking aoes

It has really strong burst. Gunslinger feels way more fluid, their skills look cooler, and the damage uptime is FAR easier on Gunslinger than Deadeye. Also, GS is very straightforward to play. Deathblade is really fun. I feel like I'm playing a Bayonetta/DMC type of game where I try to go for the most stylish kills possible without letting the enemies touch the ground. Also the skills just flow really well together. It's a lot less "assassin" than I was expecting, but it's still really fun. Honorable mentions are Paladin and Sorc. Soulfist is a pretty challenging class to play optimally and the two builds require different skillsets to pilot so when I have the resources I'll definitely set-up a robust spirit gearset for fun. Anything you pick you will be able to play any content the game offers. No one is going to reject you in a party just because of your class. Normally people are looking for lets say a Support in their group of 3 DPS! Hope you get the point!An important thing to remember is that gunlancer scales extremely well with engravings, especially blue lancer - since your shield is basically always up (if you have specialization & time your shout right) a lot of the negatives to engravings are basically negligible. Gunlancer is a dps class just like the rest.The reasons to play it are the highish apm, high mobility, high stagger, high destruction, two built in class dashes, and general tankiness. It also has one of the best "flows" out of all the classes I have played. Kind of hard to describe, but when I started playing it I instantly fell in love with how it felt. .
